Wow…it’s been a long time. Two years after graduation I moved to Atlanta and I’m still here with my husband of 16 years and my four daughters. My parents and siblings have also moved to Atlanta, so I haven’t been to Minnesota in 14 years. I don’t think that I will be able to attend the reunion since I will be in Florida at an educational conference.

My picture includes my daughter Taylor on the left and Lauren on the right. I’m sure that the reunion will be a blast!

Just an update...What a great website!  A very sincere "thank you" for everyone who has made this possible.  I thoroughly enjoy browsing the "Classmates of 1988" section ~ the many different paths each one of us has taken has certainly been a surprise and a joy to read!  Keep passing the word along!!!I've included a picture of my "significant other", Manuela (Manu for short) in the "Then" column.  The "Now" column still contains the picture of our two hoodlums, Brianna (now 13) and Joshua (now 11), the day I left for Iraq (for my second time around).  A "Then" picture from our yearbook...please!  Just a few more wrinkles and a receding hair line ~ it's still the same 'ole me smilin' back at you!  I am currently serving as a Contracting Officer Representative for the United States Army at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait!  I arrived in November 2012 and will enjoy a full year in the sand and sun.  manu and the kids are holding down the fort in Junction City, Kansas - with 21 years of military service under my belt, I am beginning to ponder retirement within the next few years.  It has been a blast, but it is time to pass the combat boots to the next generation of Soldiers.  I greatly appreciate all classmates that have contacted me recently and the "shout outs" on the "Guest Book".  I do ask that you keep all service members in your thoughts and prayers, as we continue to defend our Nation proudly, both at home and abroad.  Thank you for your time - I do certainly hope that our paths will cross again someday!

Ten years ago seems like a lifetime ago.  Alison and I had only been married for a month, we were still living in Minnesota, and had just barely contemplated our global travel schedule.  We now split our time between the U.S. Virgin Islands, Europe, Florida, and a few weeks in Minnesota each summer. 

 

After the last reunion, I wish I'd kept up with several of my classmates.  I will be certain to do that this time.  Although, I did run into Carl Anderson on a flight back from London a few months ago...  I look forward to seeing everyone, learning about their lives, and reconnecting.
